Eliza Thrall
Counseling Intern

Hi, my name is Eliza!
I am a practicum student in the Master’s of Education Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at The College of William & Mary.
I work with individuals (5+), couples, and families, navigating a variety of challenges, transitions, or concerns. I view therapy as a collaborative process, working alongside clients to identify meaningful goals and develop strategies that fit their individual needs.
It’s important to me that my clients feel heard, understood, and valued during our time together. My counseling approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, which emphasizes creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. I also integrate aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and existential therapy to help clients explore patterns of thinking and behavior, develop greater self-awareness, and consider what brings meaning, purpose, and direction to their lives.
Outside of work you will find me crafting, baking sweet treats for myself and loved ones, and petting all of the dogs that I see 🙂
If you would like to talk more about whether my approach to therapy is a good fit for you and/or your loved one reach out today!
Available for in-person and virtual appointments.
