Hey! I’m Johnathan, and I’m a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) provider, EMDR trained, and a Registered Play Therapist™ with a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Science in College and Community Counseling from Longwood University. 

Given my background, I work mostly with children and adolescents, and often use play therapy, sand tray techniques, and other therapeutic approaches to support their emotional growth and healing. I have experience with children who are in the foster care system or are navigating the adoption process. 

The other demographic I really enjoy working with are adults who are navigating their recovery from traumatic experiences and attachment wounds, or coping with complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, borderline personality disorder, and parenting concerns. 

My goal is always to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences and begin your healing journey.
