Melissa McCarthy is a Resident in Counseling who is passionate about helping people find healing, empowerment, and personal growth. She works with children, teens, and adults, and believes in meeting each person exactly where they are on their journey. With warmth, curiosity, and compassion, Melissa walks alongside her clients as they explore what healing means and feels like for them.

Melissa has experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, body image concerns, and life transitions. She also brings both personal and professional insight into working with individuals on the autism spectrum, offering understanding and support that honors each person’s unique experience.

Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and deeply rooted in creating a sense of safety and self-understanding. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy, Melissa tailors her work to each client’s specific needs, goals, and pace.
