Datriona Dennis
Supervisee in Social Work
Hello, I am Datriona! I hold a bachelor’s degree from Radford University and a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, I value meeting individuals where they are, honoring their pace, and creating a space free of judgment or pressure.
My path into social work began close to home. Through volunteering with my older sister, I witnessed firsthand the power of simply showing up for someone. That experience shaped my commitment to helping others feel heard, supported, and empowered especially during life’s most difficult moments.
I work with clients ages five and older and offer both in-person and virtual sessions. Using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, I support individuals in building practical coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and deepening self-awareness.
My goal is to provide a calm, supportive environment where you feel safe being yourself, can move through your experiences at your own pace, and grow in ways that feel meaningful and aligned with your life.
Available for appointments in-person and virtual.
