Johnathan loves working with children and adolescents, utilizing play therapy, sand tray techniques, and other therapeutic modalities to support their emotional growth and healing. He also enjoys working with adults who are on their journey to recover from traumatic experiences and attachment wounds. Johnathan is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences and begin to heal. He encourages individuals to reach out to discuss their unique situations and determine whether his therapeutic approach is the right fit for their needs. Above all, he wishes everyone the best on their journey toward wellness and self-discovery.

Johnathan earned a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Science in College and Community Counseling from Longwood University. He is a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) provider, EMDR trained, and a Registered Play Therapist™.

His specialties include working with children and adolescents experiencing trauma, attachment challenges, behavioral issues, and those involved in foster care or adoption. Johnathan also works with adults coping with complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, borderline personality disorder, and parenting concerns.
