Pamela Powers
Pamela Powers is a Resident in Counseling who is passionate about helping others find healing and empowerment. She specializes in complex trauma and PTSD and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. With a deep respect for each person’s unique path, she believes in meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they explore what healing means for them.
In addition to trauma work, her experience includes supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, body image concerns, life transitions, chronic health conditions, and chronic pain. She also brings both personal and professional insight into working with individuals on the autism spectrum and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Her approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, with a strong emphasis on supporting autonomy and fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship. She is trained in EMDR and Brainspotting and integrates techniques from CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and polyvagal theory to meet each client’s needs.
She values creating a safe and empowering space where clients can co-create treatment plans that feel right for them and is honored to support others on their journey toward growth and healing.
