Counseling Intern
Hi, I'm Quo'Vadis!
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Liberty University, and I am a Counseling Intern. Originally from Mississippi, I now reside in Virginia, where I proudly serve as an Active-Duty Soldier in the United States Army.
I am deeply committed to promoting the well-being of my clients by creating a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment where healing and personal growth can take place. I value building a collaborative and empathetic therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to take an active role in their healing journey and move toward their personal goals with confidence.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to explore underlying challenges, address current concerns, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
My practice focuses on the military community, as well as women’s and children’s mental health, particularly in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Through both my clinical training and lived military experience, I bring cultural awareness and a unique perspective to my work with service members and their families.
I look forward to working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. My mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports each client in finding balance, building resilience, and cultivating a sense of empowerment throughout their life journey.
